Case Study: Project Dixon
The property owners of Dixon Recently purchased the property and needed a complete renovation and refurbishment service to be able to rent the property out.
The interior of Project Dixon was starting to look old and very outdated; Kingston Projects were recommended to the owners of the property by previous clients of ours. They had heard that we offer complete renovation services and needed a company that were reliable, professional and listened to the client’s needs.
“We were recommended Kingston Projects by some friends who had used their services in the past. We were very impressed with the services that they had completed and approached Kingston Projects with our needs and requirements for the property & the team were so helpful and professional from start to finish.”
We started with the kitchen and bathroom as these were the biggest chunk of the project, both needed a complete refresh with new facilities and updated lighting.
The bathroom had a completely new tiling and flooring installed and the bath was replaced with an open shower, this helped the room to feel bigger and lighter. The white gloss facilities and units helped reflect the new LED spotlights which creates a really elegant and minimalist look.
Brits spend three years of their life in the kitchen, that’s 1,132 days or 27,156 hours, so it’s essential that the kitchen is fit for use and is somewhere that the occupants want to spend time in. The kitchen at Dixon has been completely transformed, the old tiles have all been replaces with white gloss tiling which compliments the matt gey units, creating a minimalist and modern kitchen space.
As well as the kitchen and bathroom, the whole house had new flooring installed throughout and the lighting was upgraded in the lounge / diner. The new colour scheme of the open plan area helps to reflect the natural and artificial light giving the feeling of a very spacious and open space.
The exterior spaces of the house were also tidied up and refreshed to create a low maintenance garden for tenants who don’t always have the time to keep on top of a busy garden. A low maintenance garden is ideal for owners who are wanting to rent out their property.
